Today we begin a new chapter in Violet Mary's peaceful music revolution. This morning we began our first official PR campaign with our new team members, Saint In The City PR out of Leeds, UK. We are promoting the single "Figure It Out" on commercial radio and media outlets throughout the US and UK in preparation for our new releases in the spring as well as our first tours in 2017. I woke up this morning to this in my email box: Elmore Magazine Premiere Feature.
I have to admit, I'm a mixed bag of emotions. I'm incredibly excited about 2017, the tours, the new material we're writing and recording, my band-mates ... this is a very rich time in Violet Maryland. We are embarking on a new chapter, and that brings with it adventure and a chance to make music in new towns for new folks and make some new acquaintances. I'm humbled by the opportunity to travel and play music. I'm also humbled by the kind words printed in Elmore about the band and the single. It's one thing when our closest friends love our songs. You have to; that's what we pay you for :)! But, when complete strangers looking to sell copy inches tell us our songs are good... that's totally different. Anyway, thank you all for your encouragement, your faithful support of Violet Mary, and for loving the music. It means the world to me.
